kimono

The long-sleeved kimono for my Coming of Age Day
was finally tailored, and delivered to my home!
My elder sister loves kimono very much (she has many kimonos
and yukatas) and my family treasure such custom,
so the quality and high-grade one was chosen.
I really appreciate for my family.....
It's great and beautiful, isn't it?
The original is more pretty, elegant and delicate.

This is obi (sash). Of course it's also a high quality one.
I realize that kimono is really valuable as an art.
It's a great handiwork. It looks like a painting when it is unfolded.
However expensive it might be,
I think kimono can be a big fortune later.
Anyway, I want to wear it soon......

(In Japan, most of the girls wear kimono for their
Coming of Age Day. It is the second Monday in January,
and my Coming of Age Day is next year.
So, you may think I made my kimono very early,
but it isn't so much in general.)

How beautiful - the embroidery is so very fine. I am sure the kimono will look wonderful. I hope that you have a lovely time.
Thank you for adding English to your blog - it's very interesting.
Best wishes from England.

thank you!
Actually, writing in both Japanese and English is a little bit hard..;)
but I'm trying.
Because I want to share my interests with many people around the world!
