piano

For about 15 years, I've been practicing the piano.
The score on the picture is Bach English Suites.
I can't play it well though.....
There are so many wrinkle because my mother also used this scores.
Actually my mother was trying to be a pianist,
so there are a lot of scores in my house.

stay in home

Today, I have no plan.
I've been pretty busy these days
so I decided to saty in home for get some rest.
Now the movie "Around the World in 80 Days"
is on TV, and I'm just watching it.
What a big ship!! What a beutiful film!!

I photographed the boys on the way home some days ago.
I think Their gestures are not so much childish,
and so I like this picture.

busier busier

Yesterday and the day before yesterday,
I went to Shibuya again.
I took the picture before the shop in Dogenzaka.
this Frankenstein, I think, looks like some
old man napping in the train.
He's not much scary, rather seems to be relaxed...

and so, I went to shibuya to see my teacher's new animation work
(you must remember his name KURASHIGE Tetsuji!!)on Sunday
and I started new part time job on Monday.
I have to earn money during my spring holidays,
so I'll be busier and busier..!!

ginza

Today....no, yesterday. it's already 12o'clock!
I went to Ginza to see solo show of
Mr.KOGURE Masuo,
who is my mother's friend (they used to be classmates).
He has some books to his credit.
I think "
INDO NO ACHAARU KUN (Achar, the Hindu Boy)"
is the most famous. The photo is one of his works.
Most of his works are paintings, but he also makes figures.
i
t's cute!!

There are so many galleries in Ginza,
and it's exciting to walk around there.
Show windows of the famous brands and stores are cool,
and do you know? Tsukiji is very close!
Ginza is really a nice place :)
The picture is ice-cream I ate at cafe.
It was already melting when it served......

strange day

Yesterday was a bit strange day.
I was stopped by all the traffic lights wherever I went,
and dropped coins again and again in front of a ticket machine.
Finally I got to the platform, but the train had just gone a moment ago.
Then I went to YodobashiCamera(multimedia store),
there I wanted to pick the store's point card,
but I scattered others too. And at the convenience store,
I had to form a long long queue for paying at the register.......
what a day? I couldn't help feeling that I was kept away from something.....

The picture is not related so much to the text above,
I just took it at the street near my house.
Tokyo is fairly warm and the sky is clear these days,
and it makes me feel so good, that I can work hard today too!

flowers flowers

When I was walking around Harajuku,

japanese plum (I guess, or peach flower?) and camellia japonica

were showing there beautiful flowers from the samll garden of the local house.

They're looking torward the same direction,

I guess the sun rises from that way.

Here is still in winter, but flowers are blooming more than I expected.

Oh, is that the beginning of spring?

more about my yesterday.

I'll talk more about my yesterday.
now in shibuya, WORLD HERITAGE EXHIBIT BUILT WITH LEGO
is held in PARCO part 1. I went there yesterday with my friend.
that was awesome, wonderful and beautiful.
do you like LEGO? I love it, of course.

the picture is a part of Sagrada Familia.

to create each heritage in LEGO, the builders have to
consider where to put which pieces of which colors and which shapes .
it is not only just combining the pieces....
wow, it needs extra patience and endurance... but I think it exciting too.

something pretty

Lately, I go to shibuya almost everyday. Last Saturday I had an appointment,
Monday & Tuesday I had interviews for part time job,
and today I watched a movie with may friend.
The picture is the window in the aisle of the theater.

The movie I saw was "Annie Liebovitz".
I thought the photographer like her won't appear so easily in Japan.
Things happening around her are far more exciting and stimulative
than things in Japan.
Celebrities in USA are far famous than celebrities in Japan. wow.....

By the way, we can walk to Harajuku, Omotesando or Ebisu from Shibuya,
and distance between Shibuya and Shinjuku is only 3 stations.
I think Tokyo is particular for its closeness.
I took the picture in theback street of Shibuya.
It's like a character of invader-game, it's cute.

Oh, do you know? Akihabara is close to Ueno and Asakusa.

still there comes spring.....!

This is the plant placed in my house's small small veranda.
I don't know the name, but I'm sure this is a kind of red pepper.
Maybe the first day of the spring (according to the calender)
has passed, however, I feel here's still under the thick clouds of the cold winter
when I see sapless berries and leaves.

Some years ago, an oversea student from Southeast Asia told me.
He was moved the most by the fact that
plants and trees bloom again when the spring comes
even though they withered in winter.
Sure, it would be a big trouble if plants were all withered in Southeast Asia.

However, there is a beautiful flower
which blooms in winter..

to hang out without spending money

yesterday, I was in shibuya all day long.
I didn't have any plan except for an appointment on that evening,
so I decided to hang out there freely.
I think I haven't done so since I graduated from high school
( my high school was close to shibuya). I've been so busy since I entered the Univ.....

and so, I spent most of the time at TOWER RECORDS (we say it TAWAREKO in Japan).
for many hours, I never spent any money at all.
I just listened to various kind of music on every floor,
and pored over magazines at TOWER BOOKS (on the top floor) at last.

actually I did nothing but listenning or reading, yet I felt a sense of fulfillment.
I was very happy to know feestylerecords and
found the CD of Isaac Albeniz's waltz "autumn" (it's very rare!) yesterday.
I really love music.... maybe more than photography.........

distorted building

everything becomes funny when it is reflected on a curved surface.
things are all warped.

messy sky

this house is near to my home.
I think there are so many electiric wires especially in downtown.
Black lines are extended here and there, up in the sky.

I wonder if some one lives in that blue tent.
If I see the sky from there, electric wires might not be in my sight....

cotton buds

Today, I made a big blunder at my friend's room.
I scattered the whole pack of cotton buds, without exception.
Cotton buds, which is supposed to be kept sanitary.....

But we somehow felt it funny, and we began to reorganize them.
They became a funny object.
(The girl is my friend)

We got carried away.
The shoes look like Dorothy in the book "The Wizard of Oz".

if I was in your shoes

When I'm putting on high heels, my legs look slender, longer, and beautiful.
I know it, very well.

Nevertheless, putting on high heels is far from comfortable.
Walking with them is not easy because it's difficult to keep balance,
and sometimes I happen to stamble.
What's more, thin heels are very easy to be worn out
so they slightly change into strange shape without notifying me.

Rather than putting on high heels with unpleasantness,
it might be better to put on flat shoes.
But it doesn't makes my legs look good.

However,
Walking smartly with flat shoes looks absolutly cooler than
walking poorly with high heels.

I like the form of high heels.
But I decided. I'll choose flat shoes for spring.

great jumping

Human can jump. But we can't fly by our own ability.
If you really wanna fly, you should fall obeying gravity, or be blown off by blast.

He's a friend of mine in my school.
I asked him to be a model because I thought he was photogenic, and really was.
I did'nt mentioned any pose, but he moved around very freely,
like this great jumping.

you can see other photos on flickr!

boys

I saw this scenery from the bus.
I think the color of this plane-shaped playground equipment is pretty good.
They may be keen on playing, and I think they all wanna take a part of the pilot.

nice to meet you!

Photos are not the real itself.

They're not even the same as the sight of the photograper.

I think I'm attracted by the gap between the real and the photo.

My english is not so much good, but I'll try
because I don't wanna remain only in Japan.

See you again, soon!
